The Kaffeeklatsch

"Der Kaffeeklatsch" is a the German word which literally means "Coffee Chat" in English.   We might say Coffee Break instead.  Doris and I want this category to be an informal blog so we can share German customs, traditions and information.

Germans love coffee.  They also love to take an afternoon break and enjoy a cup of coffee and maybe a piece of cake with a friend.  So lets sit down with a cup of coffee and spend a few minutes together so we can have a "Kaffeeklatsch".
